Lapis lazuli (Afghanistan)
This is a piece of polished Lapis lazuli, which is a semi-precious stone, from Afghanistan. The blue color is absolutely stunning and comes from the mineral Lazurite. These pictures do not do this stone justice.
If I remember my “ pseudo-science ” class 101 correctly, then this (semi-)precious stone, would be the stone of the Archer (sagittarius). Anyone? 😉
