The Establishment-Social Media Love Affair (This post keeps on getting nixed into “draft” form after I publish it.)

I should strive to use Social Media what it’s for, that is: To express myself freely, as I see myself fit to do (why so serious). That is to say: Without any feelings of “ paranoia, ” or the sense of “ being watched. ” Imo : Such feelings, and sensations, only serve to discourage, and dissuade — however subtle those may be — people from speaking their minds freely. A situation — which in, and of itself — should be discouraged, and avoided.

The problem isn’t social media – or the amount of other resources we have available today – it’s the social pressure, peer pressure. For example: One can’t say this, or that. Or you shouldn’t say this, or that … Because ‘ I ’ have a problem with ‘ you ’ doing so. It makes me ‘ feel ’ this, or that way. Etc … On top of all that, come the NSA revelations — yet another layer of insecurity to deal with. barf

That all being said: There always is the responsibility, which comes with the territory. For example: One doesn’t yell fire in a movie-theater. doh In the end it’s a matter of using one’s common sense, to discern in what’s wrong, or right, in any given situation.
