this movie was way too heavy for its intended age group
it’s actually really perfect for all ages because when kids learn this stuff early in life it stays with them
#the idea that depth of story belongs solely to adults is terrible and damaging sorry
Children are deep, children are morbid, children are facinated by meaning, children understand art, and love, and joy in a way that is more fully real then the way adults do. Children are not stupid.
they are little aliens and they do not understand us.
