Once upon in high school — or the equivalent of one — since I don’t live in the US. 🇳🇱 We were asked — in music class — to do a rendition of one of our favorite musicians. Back then I was totally into him, I mean I even had an earring. 😉
So anyway,
The assignment was simple. We had to provide a recording of what we’re going to sing to. I believe they call it a sound-mix track. The only problem I had, I had no such device to make one. And, since the teacher had prohibited us to use an actual recording. I had to do mine in full a cappella. 😲🤭😉
I’ve never heard a class so quiet, and to this day I still don’t know if it was in astonishment, or complete shock! 😂 Anyway, I think I got me a C grade for effort, that’d be equiv. to a 7 (on a scale from 1 to 10 where 6 means adequate/proficient) where I’m from. 😉
