Articulating my feelings about creating art can be challenging for me at times. In particular I receive so many questions about this piece and what it represents. So without going too deep, the theme behind ‘Got My Own Sunshine’, is that every person has within them, the spark to create their own happiness in life, or simply put, ‘to make their own sunshine’, regardless of the challenges that life throws at you. This painting for me, is a symbolic reminder of that. 😉
